Full of Wanting By Michelle Ried “Wolf!” He cries behind sheepish eyes, hiding a terrible need for attention. Do his lies feel true in his mind, or are they born of cruel intentions? If only they knew the many ways of this dark manifestation. If only they knew how he compromises heart and soul for his own salvation. Or how he trades reality for calculated misdirection. He cries a victim’s plea to anyone who will listen. Few can see the truth behind the charade— a small, recoiled person. Before empathy can offer compassion, he strikes again with more devastation. Blood all over his face, and a belly of sheep— far from satisfied and full of wanting.

This is great. It could be a mini bio-sketch of someone we know.
Your poetry moves so beautifully, your weaving together so much all with so few words. I love reading your art. Something feels secret and special, even if sometimes painful it feels held gently. You are my favorite poet and writer, your words resonate compassionately and full of a spectrum of words and emotions. I celebrate you!
