✨ Photons Rising By Michelle Ried I am a photon, In the darkness of dawn’s coming, Floating around the foray. O’er rounded hills, After night’s rainfall, Guiding along a new day. Creeping down paths, In rain's aftermath, Flickering—finding the way. In the coming morning, Twisting ’round roots and limbs, Sunshine beams in strands of yellow rays. Casting spells through green leaves, Witnessing the earth breathe, While taking my breath away. Weaving through dark shadows, As chickadees sing from nested hollows, Light, collectively, breaks past skies of gray.
